So … I went ahead and did the iPhone upgrade from my 3G to the 3G S. Altho I wasn’t all that impressed with the changes that were made in the new version of the phone to the previous version of the phone I admit I was impressed with the processing speed and the ability to record video (and autofocus). It turns out that I am able to sell my iPhone 3G for a considerable sum at NextWorth.com so the cost to upgrade is minimal: Because the line at the Apple Store at The Grove was gargantuan on Friday night, I decided to wait until Saturday afternoon to do the upgrade. I went to the Beverly Center Apple Store and got in a fairly short line … then the power blew inside the Apple Store . Without power, they cannot activate phones … so I went off for a Starbucks coffee drink and came back a bit later.
